Amelia Scott Community Hub

The opening of the fantastic new Amelia Scott community centre in April along with the recently announced co-working partnership for the Town Hall, with spare space released from digital automation of council services, will create room for innovative local businesses bringing in up to 400 new office workers into the town centre.

This will be further supported by the expected 500,000 visitors a year to the Amelia Scott for adult education, library, museum and council services. Additionally, the recent news about the investment into the old ABC cinema site and the investment plans for the old BHS store will all support rejuvenating and revitalising the top half of the town centre building on the recovery already seen in the Pantiles coming out of the pandemic.

Please see the ITV news video below for a first look inside the new Amelia Scott community hub.
